Sponsorships

Established in 2003 in the metropolitan area of Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia, the
Metro South Asian Deaf Association (MSADA) supports Deaf communities in eight South Asian
countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Our organization hosts various educational, social and cultural fundraisers for the local
community. One of our endeavors includes providing scholarships for Deaf South Asian
undergraduate students at Gallaudet University and other universities in the United States. For
more information about what we do, please feel free to visit our website.

MSADA will be hosting our 2nd Regional Conference, themed Lotus in the Lone Star, in San
Antonio, Texas from December 28, 2023 to January 1, 2024. Our 1st Regional Conference in
2018 was very successful with money raised which was partially donated to South Asian
countries.

This year, we are celebrating our 20th Anniversary with our second regional conference. The
conference will be held at The Westin Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas with 200 expected
attendees. This conference will include features as listed below:

5-10 guest presenters for workshops
25 vendors for exhibition
Deaf Youth Leadership workshops
4th Deaf Desi Dandiya (Western Indian dance event)
20th Anniversary Gala

This conference would not be possible without the help of sponsors and donors. The
sponsorship levels and a brief flier can be found on the following pages. If you would like to
become a sponsor or discuss sponsorship levels, please do not hesitate to contact me at
our contact page. If you prefer donations, please feel free to make a contribution that
you are comfortable with. Thank you for your time and consideration.
